New air carrier will inaugurate new route to Split

Great Dane Airlines (DW/GDE) is a new Danish air carrier which started with operations in June this year. Currently, they only have two Embraer ERJ-195s in their fleet (in the picture). The main operational base is at Aalborg Airport (AAL/EKYT) in northern Denmark. They have operated 7 summer seasonal routes to Bulgaria, France, Ireland, Greece, Spain and Great Britain. Next month, they will introduce another two new reguar routes to Sweden. 

In summer 2020 timetable they will start with flight operations on the first route to Croatia. New Aalborg – Split route will be operated once a month on Saturdays, from June 26th until August 29th, 2020. This route is completly new, because it has never been operated by any other air carrier. It will be operated in co-operation with Scandinavian tour agency Apollo Rejser.
