African air carrier Kenya Airways (KQ/KQA) has expanded its code-share co-operation with French flag air carrier Air France (AF/AFR). Both companies are members of SkyTeam Alliance. Zagreb is also included in the new code-share deal of Kenyan air carrier, along with other desetinations. This expanded code-share co-operation has already started on November 26th, 2019. Air France daily flight on Paris (Charles de Gaulle Airport) – Zagreb route will now also get a Kenyan flight number KQ3834.
Kenya Airways was founded in 1977. Today, it is one of the largest air carriers in Africa. The main operational base is in Nairobi. They have a modern fleet of the following planes: 9 Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners (in the picture), 8 Boeing 737-800s, 3 Boeing 737-700s, 15 Embraer ERJ-190s, and two freight Boeing 737-300Fs. They fly only to 5 destinations in Europe and 1 in the USA: Amsterdam, London, Paris, Rome, Geneva, and New York. Other than that, they serve 47 destinations in Africa and Asia.
