On Sunday April 12th, Chinese air carrier SF Airlines (O3/CSS) with a Boeing 747-4EVF(ER) has landed at Zagreb Airport. This aircraft is a freight version of popular Jumbo Jet aircraft. It arrived with flight number O27286/CSS7286 from Pu Dong Airport in Shanghai (PVG/ZSPD) after nearly 11 hours flight time.
This aircraft, with registation B-2422 was built in May 2007 for the Chinese air carrier Jade Cargo International (JI/JAE). The company went bankrupt in 2012, but the aircraft was stored until 2018. Then it was taken over by the current owner.
SF Airlines was founded in 2009 as a cargo air carrier. The main operational base is at Baoan Airport in Shenzhen (SZX/ZGSZ). It currenty operates fleet of 57 planes: 17 Boeing 737s (in versions -300F and -400F), 31 Boeing 757-200s, 8 Boeing 767-300Fs and only two of these Boeing 747-400Fs.
