Danish air carrier Great Dane Airlines (DW/GDE), in cooperation with Danish tour agency Spies and its sister tour agency Ving in Sweden, is to operate charter flights to Split. In summer 2021 timetable Great Dane will operate charter flights from Copengahen and Gothenburg to Split with its Embraer ERJ-195 (in the picute above) once a week, on Thursdays, from May 27th until September 30th.

However this also means reduction of capacity, since last year, these charter flights were planned with a larger Airbus A321 (in the picture below) operated by Danish air carrier Sunclass Airlines (DK/VKG). Sunclass Airlines is a subsidiary air carrier of Spies tour agency, which has a new name after their parent British tour agency Thomas Cook went bankrupt. All their flights were cancelled last year due to well known reasons. Sunclass Airlines is planning charter flights for just one route to Croatia, Helsinki – Split. The flights will be operated for Finnish sister tour agency Tjareborg with one flight a week, on Wednesdays, from June 2nd until October 6th.
