We expect information from MZL Zagreb after the devastating earthquake that hit Petrinja, and according to initial estimates, it was 6.2 on the Richter scale. The earthquake was strongly felt even in Serbia as well as in Kvarner all the way to Dubrovnik.
14:05 – AvioRadar finds out that the tower of the Croatian Air Navigation Services was damaged in the earthquake and the provision of the control service in the airspace of Zagreb was suspended. CTN409 from Frankfurt was diverted to Pula. An examination is in progress.

After several earthquakes, Franjo Tuđman Airport in Zagreb sent a notice early this morning.
“We inform you that this morning, after the earthquake, all the on-call services of Franjo Tudjman Airport acted in accordance with the procedures, taking into account that the safety and security of passengers are priorities.
Subsequent inspection and control of the building confirmed that there was no damage to the building itself or on runways and other manoeuvring surfaces.
After the establishment of the operating systems, traffic resumed at 06.55 am, according to the flight schedule.”
