ETF Airways took over its first Boeing 737-800

New Croatian air carrier ETF Airways (EZZ), callsign: Enterprise, has taken over its first Boeing 737-800. The aircraft was taken over in Belgrade and is prepared for the first flight EZZ1701 to Pula on Saturday, May 22th. The new aircraft is registered with 9A-LAB registration, and it was named “Voyager”

This aircraft has 30882/760 serial number and it was built in January 2001 for a German air carrier Hapag-Lloyd (HF/HLF). It was operated in Germany with D-AHFW registration. Hapag-Loyd was rebranded as TUIfly from 2007, and and the aircraft continued operations with TUIfly colours until 2017. After that, it was taken over by Argentinian air carrier Andes Lineas Aereas (OY/ANS) where it was operated only one year with LV-HKZ registration. From 2019 it was operated by French air carrier ASL Airlines France (5O/FPO) with F-GZTV registration until November last year. Since December last year, the aircraft was parked in Belgrade and prepared for a new operator by JAT tehnika

ETF Airways has also contracted a second Boeing 737-800, which is currently beeing prepared for delivery in Shannon, Ireland.
