Since the beginning of the year until 12 September 2024, Zagreb International Airport has welcomed three million passengers. This milestone was reached 34 days earlier than last year. In 2023, the airport handled a total of 3,723,650 passengers. By adding last year’s traffic from the final four months, which amounted to approximately 1.2 million passengers, to the current traffic of around 2.84 million passengers for the first eight months of 2024, the total surpasses four million. This indicates that Zagreb International Airport could handle over four million passengers this year.
