Xiamen Airlines officially welcome their first Airbus A321neo to the fleet. With a specially designed livery (First Airbus for Xiamen Air)，A321neo marks the opening of a new chapter in Xiamen Airlines operation of the Airbus fleet. Xiamen Airlines plan to put A321neo into commercial passenger service in the spring of 2023, including routes from Xiamen to Beijing Daxing, Shanghai Hongqiao and Chengdu Tianfu. Xiamen Airlines in September 2022. placed a firm order for 40 A320neo Family aircraft (25x A320neo and 15x A321neo).
