Working visit of the British acrobatic group Red Arrows to Wings of Storm

The Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the “Red Arrows” aerobatic team, landed on 27 March 2025, at the “Pukovnik Mirko Vukušić” barracks in Zemunik Donji with 11 British BAE HAWK T-1 aircraft. The reason for their arrival was a working visit to the “Wings of Storm” aerobatic team.

During their two-week stay in Croatia, the British aerobatic team will prepare for the upcoming season and will conduct flying activities in the wider area of ​​Biograd na Moru, Petrčane, the island of Vir and Zadar Airport (Zemunik Donji) from 08:30 to 16:30 on weekdays until 12 April 2025.

The flights will be carried out at low to medium altitudes (100 m to 6000 m altitude) while adhering to all safety measures, and increased noise can be expected, according to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Croatia.

This is a long-standing successful cooperation between the British acrobatic group “Red Arrows” and “Wings of Storm” in the field of exchange of experiences, joint training and exercises.

The acrobatic group “Red Arrows” was founded in 1965, and the first visit to the 93rd wing of the Croatian Air Force was in 2017.
