During this summer season, the low-cost airline Volotea will be connecting Split with Athens and vice versa. Volotea will not fly with own aircraft on that route, but has entered into a codeshare with the Greek airline Aegean and the tickets are sold for the Aegean flight.
Split will be connected to Athens twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays. The first flight leaves on June 7, 2023, while the last flight will be on September 27, 2023. The flight will be operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft.
This is not the first Aegean flight on which Volotea has a codeshare, and it includes flights to many destinations in Spain (Barcelona, Madrid, Malaga, and Valencia), Italy (Bologna, Catania, Milan, Naples, Pisa, and Rome), France (Nice and Paris), Austria (Vienna), Czech Republic (Prague), Portugal (Porto), Malta and Luxembourg.
For now, Zagreb is not on Volotea’s list of destinations, nor is it in codeshare cooperation with Aegean.
