The municipal company Parkovi d.o.o. has announced a job opening for an airport technician at the aerodrome in Varaždin, further strengthening operational support and infrastructure maintenance at this aviation facility.
The position combines a range of operational and technical responsibilities essential for the day-to-day functioning of the airport. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining airport property and infrastructure, including hangars, service buildings, and paved surfaces, as well as overseeing equipment and installations. If necessary, they will coordinate maintenance and repair activities with responsible personnel within the company.
A significant part of the role involves apron operations. The technician will participate in aircraft movements using an electric tug and communicate with pilots during arrivals, departures, and overflights, highlighting the need for both technical competence and strong communication skills. In addition, the role includes maintaining required documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Candidates are required to have a secondary or post-secondary education (levels IV–V), preferably in an administrative field, along with excellent spoken and written English skills and a valid category B driving licence.
