US air carrier United Airlines (UA/UAL), a member of Star Alliance has operated the last flight on seasonal direct route from USA to Dubrovnik on September 28. However, tickets for the next summer timetable are alrealdy available for sale. All flights are announced to be operated with a larger Boeing 767-400 planes instead of the smaller Boeing 767-300 planes operated this year.
The route from Newark Airport near New York to Dubrovnik is planned to resume with operations on May 24 of next year. Four flights a week are available with departure from USA on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, while return flights from Dubrovnik to USA are offered on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturday and Sundays.
