On November 4, 2024, TUI retired its last Boeing 767, registered as PH-OYJ and named “Sunshine.” This final flight in TUI colors departed from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to Istanbul. The aircraft’s last commercial flight took place on November 3, 2024, from Amsterdam to Fuerteventura.
This Boeing 767 joined the fleet of Britannia in 2000, later flew with Arkefly starting in 2011, served in the Belgian TUI fly from 2015 to 2022, and finally operated under the Dutch flag until its retirement. Over its service life, the aircraft completed 18,000 cycles and accumulated nearly 100,000 flight hours.
With the retirement of its last Boeing 767, the Dutch TUI fleet now consists solely of next-generation aircraft: the Boeing 787 and Boeing 737 MAX.
