As part of the planned activities of the Croatian Air Force, pilots from the 191st Fighter Squadron of the 91st Wing will conduct regular flight operations from November 27 to 29, 2024, between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. These operations may include breaking the sound barrier.
The training flights will take place over the counties of Zagreb, Karlovac, Bjelovar-Bilogora, Koprivnica-Križevci, Požega-Slavonia, Osijek-Baranja, Virovitica-Podravina, Sisak-Moslavina, Lika-Senj, Zadar, and Primorje-Gorski Kotar, at altitudes above 10,000 meters, while adhering to all safety protocols.
The Croatian Air Force carries out its activities within designated flight zones in compliance with regulations governing airspace use in the Republic of Croatia. During the planned flights, the breaking of the sound barrier is expected to generate brief periods of increased noise, according to a statement from the Ministry of Defense.
