One million passenger mark at Zadar Airport

Zadar Airport has marked the arrival of its one millionth passenger with a short ceremony today. Lucky passenger is Ivan Kevrić who arrived on a Ryanair flight from the German city of Memmingen.

“I am overjoyed with the award. I travel to Zadar often and I hope that, given the award, I will continue to do so even more often” – said the happy traveler.

The award, two return tickets from Zadar to any of the 70 destinations available, was presented to him by the CEO of Zadar Airport, Josip Klišmanić.

“We are pleased to reward a passenger who will benefit from this special award. This year, we expect about 1.25 million passengers, which is 12 percent more than last year, and in August alone, 295,000 passengers were carried through ZAD. This makes August the busiest month in the history of Zadar Airport” – said CEO Klišmanić.

This year the one million passenger mark at Zadar Airport was hit almost a month earlier than last year.
