Swedish Novair will cease all flight operations

Swedish air carrier Novair (N9/NVR) will cease all flight operations later this month. They have operated charter flights to Croatia for several years, from Stockholm to Split, and in short periods also from Gothenburg and Oslo to Split, for the Apollo tourist agency. It has already announced that all its charter flights to Split will be taken over by another Swedish air carrier Braathens International Airways (TT/BIX).

This air carrier was founded in 1997 and all their flight operations were mainly on charter flights from Scandinavia to tourist destinations in the Mediterranean, as well as several charter operations from Scandinavia to Caribbean and Thailand. There were several aircraft types in their fleet: Airbus A320, Airbus A321, Airbus A330-200, Boeing 737-800, and Lockheed L-1011 Tristar. Currently, the last Airbus A321Neo is operated on contracted charter flights until the end of the summer timetable. After that, the company will cease operations.
