The Verdi union has called the ground staff at Deutsche Lufthansa AG, Lufthansa Technik, Lufthansa Cargo and other companies to go on a 27-hour warning strike on Wednesday and Thursday (7-8 February 2024). Due to the strike, around 10 to 20 percent of Lufthansa Airline operations will be possible on 7 February. Passengers affected by flight cancellations as a result of the Verdi strike will be informed by email or via the Lufthansa app.
Important: Please only come to the airport if your flight has not been cancelled. Due to the strike, the rebooking counters are unfortunately not working. Please note the information in the “Rebooking” section. You can rebook your flight that has been cancelled due to the strike free of charge on lufthansa.com, in the customer app or via the service centres. If you have booked a domestic German flight, you can also convert your ticket into a rail voucher at lufthansa.com.
