The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Croatia, Ivan Anušić, announced on his X profile that the first six of a total of twelve MoD Rafales will arrive to Croatia on Thursday, 25 April 2024.
“Everything is ready for the arrival of the first six Rafales! On Thursday, with a historic flight from Bordeaux to Zagreb, Croatian Army’s pilots who were trained in France, will bring powerful fighters and new protectors of our airspace to Croatia.”
Below is the arrival announcement of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Croatia:
“The ceremonial welcome of the first six of a total of 12 multi-purpose Rafale fighter jets from the French Republic will be held at the “Colonel Marko Živković” barracks in Velika Gorica on Thursday 25 April 2024, starting at 12:00.”
According to the unofficial information available to AvioRadar, upon entering Croatian airspace, the aircraft will be accompanied by two MiG 21s.
