Riyadh Air, a new airline based in the city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, has unveiled the livery design of its first Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
Riyadh Air ordered 39 Boeing 787 Dreamliners earlier this year with an option to purchase an additional 33 aircraft.
Saudi Arabia has decided, along with the existing national airline Saudia, to establish another carrier whose focus will be on opening a hub in the city of Riyadh, and connecting the world through this new hub. This will make this new airline a new competitor to the already well-known airlines Emirates, Qatar Airways, Etihad and others that have the same or a similar business model.
The new livery on @RiyadhAir‘s first 787-9 is “Chef’s Kiss!” ? Fresh out of the paint hangar, this beauty is ready to show the new airline’s branding to the world! #RiyadhAir pic.twitter.com/jIwVwKW3qE
