British low-cost air carrier easyJet (U2/EZY) announced new route from Switzerland to Rijeka for the next year’s summer timetable. New route will be operated from Basel with two flights a week, on Mondays and Fridays from June 24 to August 30.
The representatives of Rijeka Airport are currently visiting the WTM – World Travel Market fair in London, where many meetings with airline companies have been arranged. This is their announcement:
Finally a direct connection to Switzerland! Although easyJet route to London was discontinued, the airline introduced a new route to Basel. It will be operated every Monday and Friday, in the period between June 24 and August 30. We still have a connection to London with Ryanair.
