After the first two new A220 aircraft entered the fleet this year, Croatia Airlines expects to take delivery of six new A220 aircraft in 2025, four in 2026, and three in 2027, bringing the fleet to a total of 15 new A220 aircraft, of which 13 will be A220-300s (capacity 149 seats) and two A220-100s (capacity 127 seats).

The second Airbus A220 is named after the city of Split, and its registration number is 9A-CAI.
