Finnish flag air carrier Finnair (AY/FIN) celebarted its 100th birthday on Wednesday November 1. This company was founded 100 years ago under the name Aero O/Y. The first flight was on March 20, 1924 en route Helsinki – Tallinn with Junkers F.13 aircraft.
Today Finnair is the member of OneWorld alliance and it operates flight to more then 80 destinations in 35 countries in Europe, North America and Asia. They have currently 79 planes in the fleet, which consists of following types: Airbus A350-900, A330-300, A321, A320, A319, Embraer ERJ-190 and ATR-72-500.
Finnair also operates regular seasonal summer fight to Croatia on flights from Helsinki to Zagreb, Dubrovnik and Split. They have previously operated flights to Pula as well.
