Fifth Croatia Airlines’ Airbus A220 on the way to Zagreb

Croatia’s national airline, Croatia Airlines, continues its ambitious fleet renewal – the arrival of the fifth Airbus A220-300 aircraft is expected.

The new aircraft, registered as 9A‑CAN, has been named Osijek in honor of Croatia’s fourth-largest city. The planned route departs tonight from Airbus’s factory in Mirabel, Canada. The flight is scheduled to take off at 18:00 local Canadian time, which corresponds to midnight Central European Time. The aircraft is expected to arrive in Copenhagen around 08:00 the following morning, after which it will continue to Zagreb, with a planned landing at 10:15.

This aircraft will be the fifth A220-300 in the fleet and is arriving in Zagreb just a few days after the fourth – 9A‑CAM Rijeka, which landed in Zagreb on June 25.
