Taiwanese airline Eva Air will renew its long-haul fleet with Airbus A350-1000 aircraft. The narrow-body fleet will be renewed with Airbus A321neo aircraft.
According to data from Eva Air website, the state of the fleet as of October 1, 2023 is:
- 34x Boeing 777-300ER
- 9x Boeing 787-10 (9 aircraft on order)
- 4x Boeing 787-9 (4 aircraft on order)
- 9x Airbus A330-300
- 3x Airbus A330-200
- 20x Airbus A321
- 8x Boeing 777F (1 aircraft on order)
With the Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, Eva Air will start replacing the Boeing 777-300ER fleet, while the A321neo will replace the existing A321 in the fleet. With these orders, Eva Air has a long-term strategy in which it will have the Airbus A321neo in the narrow-body fleet, and the Boeing 787-9/10 and the Airbus A350-1000 in the wide-body fleet.
