Emirates is the global aviation partner of the NBA, and as part of this collaboration, it has painted one of its Airbus A380s in a special livery representing basketball and the league. This aircraft will soon begin flying across Emirates’ global network.
The fuselage is painted blue, with the “Emirates” name featured in red instead of the standard gold lettering. The NBA logo appears toward the rear of the plane, with a bouncing basketball between the “Emirates” logo and the NBA emblem.
This livery is one of the few in Emirates’ fleet to feature special colors from nose to tail. Only four aircraft have been fully painted in unique liveries, while the others have partial special designs.
From November 1 to December 17, passengers flying with Emirates from 14 airports in the United States and Canada will have the chance to enjoy an NBA-themed experience onboard. Special headrest covers will feature NBA designs, and the food and beverages will have sports-inspired themes. Additionally, basketball fans can watch select live games through the in-flight entertainment system.
