Due to strong bora winds, Dubrovnik airport has been unreachable since yesterday afternoon. Flights from Frankfurt and Zagreb that were supposed to land last night were diverted to Split. Consequently, this morning’s flight to Zagreb was also canceled.
The situation has not improved today, with wind gusts frequently exceeding 50 knots, or 93 km/h. The first flight from Zagreb has been cancelled, while decisions about the afternoon and evening flights will be made according to the situation.
A flight from Istanbul by Turkish Airlines is also scheduled for this evening.
According to the current TAF forecast, bora winds are expected to weaken, but only in the evening.
