In recent days, Croatia Airlines has signed interline contracts with two airlines: Flyfubai and Discover Airlines. As confirmed by the national carrier for AvioRadar, in addition to the electronic interline ticketing agreement with Discover Airlines, which is part of the Lufthansa group, a codeshare agreement has also been concluded and distributed on Monday, 6 May 2024. Discover Airlines will take over some routes from Lufthansa and this summer will operate flights from Frankfurt to destinations including Dubrovnik, Split, and Zadar. On flights between Croatia and Germany operated by Discover Airlines, Croatia Airlines participates as the marketing carrier. The flights are available under the OU flight number on Croatia Airlines’ website as well as through the network of travel agencies.
Regarding the interline contract with Flydubai, Croatia Airlines states: “The electronic interline ticketing contract was also concluded with the carrier Flydubai. We remind you that until 2019, Emirates Airlines flew to Zagreb, with which solid results were achieved in interline exchange. As the route from Dubai to Zagreb is now operated by Flydubai, concluding such an agreement is a logical continuation of cooperation. An electronic interline agreement is a prerequisite for commercial cooperation, and the publication of tariffs, destination availability, and distribution depend on several factors, including specific IATA resolutions.”
Croatia Airlines currently maintains more than 75 electronic interline contracts with carriers worldwide.
