Croatian Civil Aviation Agency seeks an aviation inspector and an international affairs specialist

The Croatian Civil Aviation Agency (CCAA) has published vacancies for an aviation inspector in its Training and Licensing Department and an international affairs specialist. Both positions are based in Zagreb, with an application deadline of September 22, 2026.

The aviation inspector will perform professional and administrative duties within the Training and Licensing Department, conduct aviation safety oversight and monitor compliance with aviation regulations and international standards. The role also includes participation in national and international expert bodies.

Candidates must hold a relevant higher education qualification in aeronautics, transport, aviation, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aircraft maintenance or law, and have at least five years of relevant work experience. An active command of English at a minimum B/B1 level is required, alongside the other conditions specified in the vacancy notice. A valid or expired CPL/ATPL pilot licence with the relevant instructor and examiner certificates is considered an advantage.

The international affairs specialist will work in the Aviation Law and International Affairs Office. Responsibilities include the Agency’s international cooperation, preparing international agreements, monitoring European Union regulations and international standards, and aligning national regulations with international and European regulatory frameworks. The position also involves cooperation with international organisations and institutions responsible for civil aviation.

Applicants for this position must hold a degree in law or economics, have at least one year of relevant work experience and demonstrate an active, operational command of English at a minimum C1 level. Experience in applying European Union law and aligning national legislation with EU law, as well as experience in aviation or transport law, is considered an advantage.
