The Government of the Republic of Croatia approved the Croatian Civil Aviation Agency (CCAA) to sign a lease agreement for new office premises in the City Island business park in Buzin, marking the Agency’s relocation from its current address at 284 Grada Vukovara Street in Zagreb. The new offices, located at Buzinski Krči 5 and 5a, will be leased from the company City Island d.o.o.
The Agency’s existing premises have long been deemed inadequate and insufficient for its operational needs, failing to meet the requirements of modern work organization. After the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction, and State Assets confirmed that no suitable state-owned properties were available in Zagreb, the CCAA launched a call for offers. Out of five bids received, the proposal from City Island d.o.o. was evaluated as the most favorable, meeting all criteria in terms of functionality, size, and cost.
The lease agreement covers a total area of 3,763 square meters and includes 35 parking spaces. It will be valid for a fixed period from November 7, 2025, to December 31, 2030. With this decision, the Government also approved the assumption of financial obligations related to the lease, to be covered from the state budget for the period 2026–2030, while the funds for 2025 have already been secured in the Agency’s financial plan.
The relocation and start of operations at the new premises of the Croatian Civil Aviation Agency are expected in January 2026. The modern and more spacious facility will provide improved working conditions and ensure greater efficiency in carrying out the Agency’s regulatory and supervisory functions within Croatia’s civil aviation sector.
