The Croatian Civil Aviation Agency has presented its new visual identity, aiming to emphasize safety, expertise, responsibility and a forward-looking approach. The new logo was published on the Agency’s official profile, accompanied by a message describing it as a continuation of the institution’s development and a strengthening of its recognizability as the body responsible for oversight and regulation of civil aviation in Croatia.

In its announcement, the Agency states that the new visual identity is inspired by the dynamics of air traffic, movement and progress, while the dominant blue color symbolizes trust, stability and a connection with the sky. The two red squares are linked to Croatian identity and national affiliation, placing the new mark clearly within the domestic institutional framework.

The visual solution represents a significant departure from the Agency’s previous appearance. The former logo, although long-standing and recognizable within the Croatian aviation community, did not always clearly convey the institution’s full name and role to the wider public. Moreover, many perceived it more as the acronym “CCM” than as CCAA, the actual abbreviation of the Croatian Civil Aviation Agency. The new mark is clearly intended to simplify the message and avoid such ambiguities, relying on a linear representation that more directly evokes aviation.

The Agency describes the new logo as minimalist, modern, and functional, designed for an institution focused on the highest standards of safety, quality and sustainable development of air transport. In that sense, the change of visual identity is not merely an aesthetic decision, but also a communication one, especially for an institution whose work often takes place outside the focus of the wider public, yet has a direct role in aviation safety.

With this solution, the Croatian Civil Aviation Agency aims to present itself in a cleaner, simpler and more recognizable way, with an emphasis on its core task: overseeing the safety of civil aviation and developing a system that must remain reliable, professional and aligned with international standards.
