ETF Airways and Croatia Airlines Are Hiring Co-Pilots Without Type Rating.
ETF Airways is seeking full-time co-pilots for its Boeing 737-800 fleet. Applicants must hold citizenship in an EU member state, possess a valid EASA CPL license with frozen ATPL theoretical knowledge, and have a current first-class medical certificate (EASA, Part MED). The role requires a license for operating multi-engine piston airplanes under Instrument Flight Rules (MEP/IR) and completion of EASA Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (AUPRT) as per FCL.745.A.
Additionally, candidates must have a certificate of successful completion of multi-crew flight training (EASA Multi-Crew Cooperation – MCC). The application should include a recommendation letter or a report from the institution where the training was completed (written in English). This report should detail the results of all ATPL exams (including retake information) and performance data from the CPL skill test (pass/fail outcomes).
Regarding flight hours, ETF Airways requires 100 hours of on-the-spot flight time from candidates who have completed the modular course. Pilot in command (PIC), or 70 hours as a PIC if the training was completed during an integrated flight training course.
Proficiency in spoken and written English (minimum level C1) is mandatory, alongside an ICAO English certificate with at least level 4. Knowledge of Croatian is considered an advantage.
