Croatia Control will fully transition to the new AIM Portal on 1 January 2026, which will become the sole official channel for accessing aeronautical information products and aeronautical data in the Republic of Croatia. From that date, the existing methods of distribution will be discontinued, and all users will be required to use the new platform for both operational and informational purposes.
Through the AIM Portal, users will have access to the electronic AIP along with all associated amendments and supplements, including AIP AMDT, SUP and AIC, as well as aeronautical charts. The system also includes the VFR Manual and VFR Chart, a list of valid SUPs, a digital interactive map with various layers of aeronautical data, and new digital products currently under development, such as data sets and digital NOTAM visualisation.
Croatia Control states that the objective of the full transition to the AIM Portal is to further enhance the efficiency of aeronautical information services, ensure more secure and reliable access to data, and provide improved user support. The new system enables a centralised, transparent and authenticated access to both existing and new digital aeronautical information products, while ensuring a higher level of data security and integrity.
Access to the AIM Portal is available via aim.crocontrol.hr, where detailed user instructions can also be found, including guidance on registration and ordering AIM products. First-time users are required to complete a registration process, while subsequent access is provided through login with an existing username and password. Upon registration and selection of the desired products, users receive confirmation of registration and validated orders by email.
The portal also introduces additional functionality for data originators. Within the “Cooperation” section, users can access the AIM4Flight Portal, which enables the submission and management of aeronautical data change requests. This ensures a high level of automation and digitalisation of processes, as well as full traceability of all data modifications.
Croatia Control encourages all users of aeronautical information to register for the AIM Portal in a timely manner in order to ensure uninterrupted access to required products for operational use from the beginning of 2026. For further information and user support, the customer service team can be contacted via email at ais.subscription@crocontrol.hr or by telephone on +385 1 6259 376.
