Croatia Airlines has announced a vacancy for a new position in the field of human resources. The Croatian national carrier is looking for an HR Specialist (m/f) who will be involved in a broad range of human resources management processes, from workforce planning and recruitment to employee development, HR analytics and employer branding.

The new team member will be involved in organisational changes, job classification and evaluation, workforce planning and monitoring the implementation of staffing plans. The role also includes recruitment and selection processes, the development of performance management, reward and benefits systems, as well as activities related to talent management, succession planning and employee retention.

The position also covers HR analytics and relevant metrics, organisational surveys such as employee engagement and satisfaction assessments, employer branding, training activities and support in crisis situations within the company’s established framework. The selected candidate will also participate in improving internal HR policies and procedures and will work with the HR.net digital platform.

Applicants are expected to hold a university degree or a master’s degree in a social sciences-related field, with preference given to candidates with a degree in psychology. The position also requires a passed professional psychology examination with the Croatian Psychological Chamber and at least two years of experience in human resources management, covering several of the processes listed in the vacancy.

Excellent knowledge of English is required, while experience with HR.net or another human resources management application is considered an advantage. Croatia Airlines is also looking for strong communication, analytical, negotiation and presentation skills, as well as change management capabilities, proactivity and a team-oriented approach.

Candidates are also expected to demonstrate a high level of organisation, accuracy and systematic work, self-initiative, goal orientation and the ability to meet deadlines, together with a high degree of professional integrity, ethics, discretion, responsibility and reliability.

For this position, Croatia Airlines offers a gross monthly salary ranging from €2,000 to €3,000, depending on previous work experience, plus transportation allowance.
