Croatia Airlines has begun preparations for the upcoming summer flight season and has announced a vacancy for seasonal cabin crew positions.
The job is described as dynamic and exciting: “Do you like dynamics and travel? Are you a positive, open, and adaptable person with developed communication skills? Do you like working with people in a workplace where everyone knows each other and functions as a well-established team? If you answered “YES” to any of the questions, join us!”, the vacancy states.
Employment requirements include:
- being of legal age and having completed high school
- excellent knowledge of spoken and written English
- knowledge of a second language is an advantage
- good swimming skills
- computer use and communication via e-mail
- for shortlisted candidates, medical fitness for a cabin crew job
- for shortlisted candidates, passing a security check with the relevant authorities
- highly developed communication skills and responsibility at work
- no tattoos or piercings in visible places
- motivation to work in a team
It also highlighted what the national airline offers to interested candidates:
- Free training
- Seasonal contract
- Transportation to and from work
- Provided uniforms
- Two award airline tickets after the season on our routes
The competition concluded with a description and details of the work schedule: “Our instructors will show you all the secrets of this wonderful profession and you will acquire an internationally recognized license and be ready to meet all the challenges in your daily work. After successfully completing your education, which we plan to start in February in Split and in March in Zagreb, we offer you an employment contract during the summer season for a job in a dynamic environment with a base in Zagreb and Split. Working hours according to the operational flight schedule plan allow you to more flexibly distribute your free time, and in the case of multi-day shifts on the coast, you will also have time for your usual summer activities.”
