The Croatian Civil Aviation Agency has published a public recruitment notice for the position of Development Projects Specialist within its Educational and Information Centre. The Agency is seeking one employee for the position, with the workplace located in Zagreb.

The role focuses on planning, preparing, coordinating and implementing development projects within the Agency, including projects financed by European Union funds, projects funded from other sources, as well as external projects in which the Agency participates as a contractor or service provider.

The selected candidate will be expected to participate in the preparation of the Agency’s annual work programme and financial plan, prepare expert documentation for development projects, define and verify project scope, prepare detailed project plans, manage project risks, coordinate project teams and communicate with domestic and international institutions. The role also includes the preparation of project and tender documentation, monitoring project implementation, drafting reports and documenting lessons learned and good practices.

Applicants must have completed an appropriate technical or social sciences degree, at least five years of relevant work experience, active and operational knowledge of English at a minimum C1 level, computer literacy, knowledge of office software tools, and Croatian citizenship or citizenship of another European Union member state.

Additional advantages include advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Office, MS Project or equivalent project management systems, proven experience in independently managing at least five projects, experience in leading project teams of at least five members, and valid project management certificates such as PMP, PRINCE2, agile methodology certificates or equivalent qualifications. Experience in digitalisation projects, ICT system implementation, business process improvement and information security management systems, particularly in aviation, is also considered an advantage.

The Agency offers a permanent full-time employment contract, with a mandatory six-month probation period.
