Bonza has temporarily suspended services

Bonza has temporarily suspended services due to be operated today (Tuesday 30th April), as discussions are currently underway regarding the ongoing viability of the business. Bonza apologise to their customers who are impacted by this and they’re working as quickly as possible to determine a way forward that ensures there is ongoing competition in the Australian domestic aviation market.

For Bonza customers who are due to travel today or who are stuck away from home, Jetstar and Qantas will assist by providing flights at no cost where there are seats available.

Of Bonza’s 36 routes, there are only six overlapping routes with either Jetstar or QantasLink:

  • Melbourne – Gold Coast (Jetstar)
  • Melbourne – Sunshine Coast (Jetstar)
  • Avalon – Gold Coast (Jetstar)
  • Gold Coast – Cairns (Jetstar)
  • Melbourne – Mildura (QantasLink)
  • Melbourne – Alice Springs (QantasLink)

If there is another close alternative route that Jetstar or Qantas operates, customers who were booked to travel today or are stuck away from home can also travel at no cost.
