Boeing delivered a total of 171 commercial aircraft to customers during the second quarter of 2026, bringing its year-to-date deliveries to 314 aircraft.

The majority of quarterly deliveries once again came from the 737 family. The US manufacturer delivered 129 aircraft of this type between April and June, while a total of 243 units were handed over during the first six months of 2026.

The 787 Dreamliner programme recorded 25 deliveries in the second quarter and 40 since the beginning of the year. At the same time, Boeing delivered ten aircraft from the 767 family, bringing the year-to-date total for the programme to 16 units.

Customers also received seven 777 aircraft during the second quarter, with 15 delivered during the first half of the year.

The figures show that the 737 family accounted for approximately three-quarters of all Boeing commercial aircraft deliveries during the first six months of 2026. Increasing production and deliveries of narrowbody aircraft remains central to Boeing’s efforts to stabilise its business, given the large backlog of 737 MAX orders and the programme’s financial importance.

Boeing also published delivery figures for its Defense, Space & Security division. A total of 35 new-build, remanufactured or modified units were delivered in the second quarter, bringing the year-to-date total to 65.

These included six new and nine remanufactured AH-64 Apache helicopters, four new and two renewed CH-47 Chinook helicopters, three F-15 fighter aircraft and three F/A-18 models. Boeing also delivered four KC-46 tankers, three MH-139 helicopters and one P-8 maritime patrol aircraft.

During the first half of the year, Boeing delivered a total of 32 new or remanufactured AH-64 Apache helicopters, eight KC-46 aircraft and five F/A-18 models. No commercial or civil satellites were delivered during the second quarter, although one satellite was handed over earlier in the year.

Boeing noted that the published figures include new-build production units, remanufactured products and modifications. The delivery information remains preliminary until the company publishes its official financial results for the second quarter.
