On June 18, the Agency for the Investigation of Accidents in Air, Maritime, and Railway Transport (AIN) published a short report on the plane crash that occurred on May 31, 2024, at Hvar Airport. We are transmitting the report in its entirety:
“On May 31, 2024, at approximately 2:20 p.m. local time, a smaller VL-3 aircraft with French registration crashed at Hvar Airport. The Croatian Ministry of Interior informed the Agency for the Investigation of Accidents in Air, Maritime, and Railway Traffic about the incident.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Agency’s aviation accident investigators began collecting data to conduct a safety investigation. Details about the accident will be provided once the necessary data has been gathered.
Upon completion of the safety investigation, the final results will be publicly available on the Agency for the Investigation of Accidents in Air, Maritime, and Railway Transport’s website, www.ain.hr, in the form of the Final Report on the accident.”
