As of noon today, Dubrovnik Airport has been closed to civil air traffic. The first Coronavirus positive person in Dubrovnik is an airport employee.
“Unfortunately, we received information that one employee of Dubrovnik Airport Ltd. was sick with COVID-19. We urgently took all recommended measures and acted in accordance with the instructions of the National Civil Protection Headquarters and the Civil Protection Headquarters of Dubrovačko-Neretvanska County and decided that the Airport is to be closed to civilian air traffic today at 12.00” – the Airport reported briefly.
NOTAM for Dubrovnik Airport states that airport will be closed for 10 days. This only applies for civil air traffic.
