The national airline will operate a flight to China for the first time in its history.

The Airbus A320-214 Reg. 9A-CTK will take off from Zagreb International Airport (ZAG / LDZA) to Tianjin Binhai Airport (TSN / ZBTJ) in China this Friday at 1 am.
The airport is located in Tianjin city, 110km from the Chinese capital Beijing.
As it is a 4,200 nautical mile (7,776 kilometers) flight, the aircraft will have a technical landing at Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport (NQZ / UACC) in Kazakhstan. A technical landing at the same airport will be made on the way back.
On this charter flight to China, Croatia Airlines will carry 117 passengers – students, while on the way back to Croatia, there will be 74 passengers – diplomats.
A total of 10 crew members will perform this historic flight and will take turns in Kazakhstan.
