Latvian flag air carrier airBaltic (BT/BTI) has cancelled new announced routes from Lithuania to Croatia. Vilnius – Dubrovnik and Vilnius – Rijeka routes are not in the offer anymore. Both routes were announced to be operated with two weekly flights.
Last year, there weren’t any direct routes from Lithuania to Croatia. This year, three new routes were announced for the summer season. Ryanair (FR/RYR) had a new Kaunas – Zadar route planned as well, however, all three routes are now cancelled.
At the same time, airBaltic has reduced flight operations on routes from Latvia to Croatia. Riga – Dubrovnik route will keep two weekly flights, operated on Mondays and Thursdays instead of previously announced flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Also, the begining of summer operations is now postponed for two months – from July 6th, 2020. Riga – Rijeka route will have one instead of two flights a week. The flight will take place on Wednesdays, because Sunday flights are removed from the offer. Also, Rijeka operations will begin later – from July 8th, 2020. The third Riga – Split route is in the offer without any changes. All announced flights are in the offer starting from May 1th, with additional third flight a week from July 1st, 2020.
