Air Greenland share the first pictures of their fully painted, future Airbus A330neo, named Tuukkaq.
As you can see, it will be quite recognisable in their iconic red colour.
Tuukkaq will be a true child of the world, with parts from all over the globe:
- Parts of the fuselage are made in Germany
- Most of the moving parts are from Spain
- The interior gallery comes from Switzerland
- Premium seats and IFE are made in the USA
- The state-of-the-art engines are from Rolls Royce in the UK
- Testing and final assembly is done in France
Tuukkaq, will be part of Air Greenland’s sustainable fleet strategy and will emit at least 25% less CO2 pr seat, than our current airbus Norsaq
