Swiss International Air Lines (LX/SWR), a Star Alliance member, has announced a new route to Split in summer 2021 timetable. New Geneva – Split route is announced with two weekly flights, on Tuesdays and Fridays starting from July 2nd until the end of summer timetable. It is interesting that a smaller Airbus A220-100 (in the picture) is announced on this route during the peak summer season, while larger Airbus A220-300 is announced in post-season period from September.

Despite the last year’s pandemic, Swiss has inaugurated a new Geneva – Dubrovnik route that is also offered in summer timetable this year. It will be operated once a week on Saturdays, as last year, but only during the peak summer season, from begining of July until the end of August. Geneva – Pula route, which was inauguarted two years ago, is not in the offer for this year. Swiss doesn’t operate routes to Croatia from its main base in Zürich, but only from Geneva.
