Last year’s charter flights from Sweden to Rijeka, which were operated by Slovenian national air carrier Adria Airways (JP/ADR), were taken over by Czech air carrier Smartwings (QS/TVS). This also means greater capacity, because, instead of smaller Airbus A319, these charter flights will be operated by bigger Boeing 737-800 aircraft (in the photo).
- These charter flights are organized by Swedish tourist agency Travea. They are scheduled once a week, on Tuesdays, during May, September and October (out of the main summer season). Charter flights on route Göteborg (GOT) – Rijeka (RJK) will have four rotations, before and after the main summer season. Charter flights from Karlstad (KSD), Kristianstad (KID) and Stockholm – Arlanda (ARN) will bring one group of tourist, before and after the main season. Charter flight on route Norrköping (NRK) – Rijeka (RJK) will bring just one group of tourist in May.
