Ryanair started operations on the first route to Zagreb

Irish low-cost air carrier Ryanair (FR/RYR) was welcomed on the first arrival on the regular flight to Zagreb Airport on Wednesday, June 2nd. The first arrival was on the flight FR4982 from Brussels (Charleroi Airport). This route will be operated with two weekly flights, on Wednesdays and Sundays, and from September 3rd there will be an additional third flight a week, on Fridays. The first flight was operated with Boeing 737-800, registered EI-EVP (in the pictures) with 67 arriving passengers. On depature there are 40 passangers.

Recently Ryanair announced  opening of a base at Zagreb Airport with 12 new routes. Two additional routes were added at later stage. The first route is now operated with an aicrarft from Ryanair’s base at Charleroi. From June 17th new route from Milano (Bergamo Airport) base will start with flight operations with four flights a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. 

Ryanair’s base at Zagreb Airport will start with flight operations from July 23rd. The first departure will be on the flight from Zagreb to Gotheborg. On the same day, first departures will be also for routes from Zagreb to Rome (Ciampino Airport) and  London (Stansted Airport). Remaining 9 routes to: Paris (Beuvais Airport), Dortmund, Düsseldorf (Niederrhein-Weeze”), Frankfurt ( Hahn Airport), Karlsruhe, Memmingen, Malmö, Oslp (Sandefjord-Torp Airport) and Podgorica are planned from September 1st.
