Flight operations were resumed on several seasonal regular routes to Croatian coastal airports during the last 10 days.
Rijeka Airport welcomed its first international regular seasonal flight this year on Saturday, May 29th. It was a flight of German low-cost air carrier Eurowings (EW/EWG) from Düsseldorf to Rijeka, with Airbus A319 (in the picture). This route will be operated once a week on Saturdays, during June, while a second flight on Wednesdays will be added from July.
Last week, on Saturday May 22nd Eurowings has resumed flight operations on seasonal regular routes from Dortmund, Hamburg and Cologne to Split. These three routes will also be operated at beginning with only one flight a week, on Saturdays. Routes from Düsseldorf and Stuttgart to Split have started with flight operations even earlier.

Croatia Airlines (OU/CTN) resumed flight operations on the first international route, from Dubrovnik to Frankfurt on Friday, May 21th. The following day, on Saturday May 22nd, Croatia Airlines resumed flight operations on Split – Zürich route. One week later, on Saturday May 29th, Split – London (Heathrow Airport) route resumed with flight operations.
Luxembourg flag air carrier Luxair (LG/LGL) resumed flight operations to Dubrovnik and Zadar on Saturday, May 22th. At the beginning, the first flights will be operated once a week on Saturdays, from Luxembourg via Zadar to Dubrovnik, and back directly from Dubrovnik to Luxembourg with Bombardier Q400.
Transavia France (TO/TVF) resumed flight operations on a regular seasonal route from Paris (Orly Airport) to Dubrovnik on Saturday, May 22nd. At the beginning, this route will also be operated with only one flight a week, on Saturdays, with a Boeing 737-800. Transavia resumed flights from Paris to Split one week earlier.
UK low-cost air carrier EasyJet (U2/EZY) resumed flight operations on a regular seasonal route from London (Luton Airport) to Split on Saturday, May 22nd. The first arrival was operated with a new Airbus A320Neo. One week later, on Saturday May 29th, Easyjet also resumed flight operations on regular seasonal routes from London (Gatwick Airport) to Dubrovnik and Split.
Czech air carrier Smartwings (QS/TVS) resumed flight operations on Katowice – Dubrovnik route on Thursday, May 27th. Earlier, the company resumed flights from Warsaw to Dubrovnik and from Prague to Split. All Smartwings flights from Poland to Dubrovnik, from the begining of May, were operated with Boeing 737MAX8.
After several postpones, Izraeli air carrier Israir (6H/ISR) resumed flight operations from Tel Aviv to Zagreb on Thursday, May 27th.
Serbian flag air carrier Air Serbia (JU/ASL) resumed flight operations on routes from Belgrade to Dubrovnik and Split on the same day, on Friday, May 28th. The first flight to Dubrovnik was operated with a ATR-72, while the first flight to Split with Airbus A319.
Spanish low cost air carrier Volotea (V7/VOE) resumed flight operations on its first regular seasonal route to Croatia this year. The first arrival was on Sunday, May 30th from Nantes to Split with Airbus A319.
