New Ryanair base in Trieste

Irish low-cost air carrier Ryanair (FR/RYR) has been operateing regular flights to Trieste for many years now. Recently Ryanair announced to introduce Trieste as a new base in its network, starting from April this year. A total of 16 routes from Trieste are offered, including 5 new: Barcelona, Bari, Brussels “Charleroi”, Cagliari, Catania, Dublin, London “Stansted”, Malta, Naples, Palermo and Valencia. The new routes are Berlin, Brindisi, Krakow, Paris “Beauvais” and Seville. Ryanair is currently the airline that offers the biggest number of destinations out of Trieste Airport.

Routes from Trieste are also very attractive for passangers from Croatia and Slovenia. This will also means that additional passangers will fly from Trieste instead of Croatian and Slovenian airports.

Ryanair summer timetable from Trieste from March 31:

  • Barcelona – 2 times per week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays
  • Bari – 6 times per week, daily except Thursdays
  • Berlin (new) – 2 times per week, on Tuesdays and Sundays
  • Brindisi (new) – 3 times per week, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays
  • Brussels “Charleroi” – 2 times per week, on Mondays and Thursdays
  • Cagliari – 4 times per week, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
  • Catania – 5 times per week, daily except Fridays and Saturdays
  • Dublin – 2 times per week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays
  • Krakow (new) – 2 times per week, on Mondays and Fridays
  • London “Stansted” – 4 times per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays
  • Malta – 3 times per week, on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays
  • Naples – 4 times per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays
  • Palermo – 4 times per week, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays
  • Paris “Beauvais” (new) – 2 times per week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays
  • Seville (new) – 2 times per week, on Mondays and Thursdays
  • Valencia – 3 times per week, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays
