Irish low-cost air carrier Ryanair (FR/RYR) has been operateing regular flights to Trieste for many years now. Recently Ryanair announced to introduce Trieste as a new base in its network, starting from April this year. A total of 16 routes from Trieste are offered, including 5 new: Barcelona, Bari, Brussels “Charleroi”, Cagliari, Catania, Dublin, London “Stansted”, Malta, Naples, Palermo and Valencia. The new routes are Berlin, Brindisi, Krakow, Paris “Beauvais” and Seville. Ryanair is currently the airline that offers the biggest number of destinations out of Trieste Airport.
Routes from Trieste are also very attractive for passangers from Croatia and Slovenia. This will also means that additional passangers will fly from Trieste instead of Croatian and Slovenian airports.

- Bari – 6 times per week, daily except Thursdays
- Berlin (new) – 2 times per week, on Tuesdays and Sundays
