Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer delivered 66 aircraft in the third quarter of 2026, marking its best-ever delivery performance for that period. Deliveries increased by six percent compared with the same period last year and by two percent compared with the previous quarter. During the first nine months of this year, a total of 175 aircraft were handed over to customers, up 14 percent from the 153 delivered in the same period of 2025.
The commercial aviation segment delivered 22 aircraft, comprising 11 E175s and 11 aircraft from the E2 family. This represents a ten percent increase over both the previous quarter and the third quarter of last year, with 20 aircraft delivered in each of those comparison periods.
Business jets accounted for the largest share of quarterly deliveries, with 41 aircraft handed over to customers, unchanged from a year earlier. Embraer highlighted progress in its production leveling program, which has gradually reduced the concentration of deliveries in the second half of the year over the past two years. According to the manufacturer, the program also contributed to the growth in total deliveries during the first nine months of 2026.
The defense and security segment delivered three aircraft: one KC-390 Millennium multi-mission military transport aircraft and two A-29 Super Tucanos. This compares with one aircraft delivered in the same period last year.
Embraer maintained its existing full-year guidance for 2026, expecting to deliver between 80 and 85 commercial aircraft and between 160 and 170 business jets. The midpoint of both projected ranges represents growth of approximately six percent compared with the previous year.
