Croatian Civil Aviation Agency hiring two Flight Approval Specialists

The Croatian Civil Aviation Agency (CCAA) has announced a public recruitment competition for two Flight Approval Specialist positions within its Flight Approval Department. The positions are based in Zagreb, and the selected candidates will be offered permanent employment contracts.

The role involves participating in approval procedures for various types of flights and flight activities requiring authorization from the Agency. These include, among others, flights operated by foreign air carriers, diplomatic flights, overflights of Croatian airspace, as well as landings by aircraft carrying dangerous goods.

The position also includes monitoring European and international regulations, standards and recommended practices relevant to the Department’s activities, as well as preparing professional documentation, official acts and reports. Future employees will also cooperate with domestic and international expert bodies, providing direct insight into the regulatory and operational aspects of civil aviation.

Candidates are required to have an appropriate educational background in transport, engineering, natural sciences or social sciences, along with relevant work experience. Other requirements include active and operational knowledge of English at a minimum B2 level, computer literacy, knowledge of office administration procedures, and familiarity with relevant European and international standards and recommended practices.

In addition to a permanent employment contract, the Agency offers annual bonuses, a child allowance, reimbursement of meal and transportation expenses, as well as a free annual medical examination. Remote work is also possible after completion of the probationary period.

The CCAA particularly emphasizes continuous investment in the personal and professional development of its employees, including additional training, education and professional development opportunities, as well as IT equipment tailored to the requirements of the position.
