The Croatian Civil Aviation Agency has developed the Interactive Pilot Logbook, a new digital educational tool designed to simplify and standardize the recording of flight experience.

The tool is intended for student pilots, pilots, instructors and examiners, providing practical guidance through concrete examples on how to correctly complete all relevant sections of a pilot logbook. Its main purpose is to reduce errors, harmonize the recording of flight activities and make regulatory requirements easier to understand in everyday use.

Unlike traditional written instructions or regulations, the Interactive Pilot Logbook guides users through real-life scenarios and practical examples. This approach is particularly useful for new pilots and candidates in training, while also supporting instructors and examiners in reviewing, checking and validating recorded flight data.

One of the key benefits of the tool is the standardization of flight experience records among all users. For pilots, this means fewer administrative mistakes; for instructors, simpler verification; and for examiners and the regulator, a clearer and more reliable overview of relevant data. In a broader context, the tool contributes to greater transparency and more efficient administration in the field of licensing and flight experience recording.

As a web-based tool, the Interactive Pilot Logbook is accessible from different devices and does not require software installation. Its simple and focused interface makes it suitable for a wide range of users, from beginners to experienced aviation professionals.

According to the Croatian Civil Aviation Agency, the greatest value of the Interactive Pilot Logbook lies in the digitalization of the process, user education, standardization and reduction of administrative errors. In this way, the tool contributes to higher quality and safety standards in the field of pilot licensing and flight experience records.
